Paige Elisse as "Shaunie"

Paige Elisse is an American Actress, Dancer and Filmmaker Born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She began her acting Career While Studying Theatre and Broadcast Journalism at Clark Atlanta University, where she was cast as "Alice" in the Stage production "Go Ask Alice".  During her time in Atlanta, Paige directed and produced her first black box production “I Never Saw Another Butterfly" which is a collection of works of art and poetry by Jewish children who lived in the concentration camp Theresienstadt. In 2017 Paige founded “Underground Sound”; an innovative arts platform built to showcase artists of all mediums from the Midwest, through open mics, comedy shows and music festivals. She has produced and Hosted over 25 shows for Underground Sound from 2017- 2021, and produced "U.G.S Summerfest"; a Music festival held in Indianapolis in 2019. From 2019-2020 Paige was the Host of “Midwest Hub” Hip hop talk show and “Talent Republic USA" Tv show, which aired on WISH TV, WFYI and Roku. In addition to this she was celebrated for her recent role as Peep in "Hype Man: A Breakbeat Play," at Fonseca Theatre Company in 2020.

 

Paige has written, and directed, three short films/Visuals “Sweet Jane”, “Dances with Wolves” and her most recent work “Through the Looking Glass” which premiered at 4Scene Film Festival in the summer of 2021. Paige has a background in theatre production/tech, stage/sword fighting, costume design, as well as Musical Theatre. Her dance training background started in 2004 where she started as a member of IIbada Dance company. She is also a member of  Ha2 Championship Dance Team INC; a national Dance organization founded in Chicago in 1994, and most recently she continued her dance career in 2018 as a company dancer with Kenyetta Dance company in Indianapolis.
